It features SDI / Analog inputs, and displays clocks / timers, UMDs, tallies and audio metering. 2 Kaleido-Alto: Easily configurable display 9 Pristine image quality Kaleido-Alto s advanced processing delivers pristine image quality; each video input is equipped with an advanced deinterlacing and scaling engine to ensure high quality monitoring without undesired artefacts. The output can be set to the native resolution of the display, up to 1280 x 24 resolution, and each image can be scaled up to full screen, and down to a fraction of its original size. 4:3 16:9 Source IDs Source IDs (UMDs) can be included inside or outside the display window. Multiple source IDs can be positioned over, under, inside or to the side of the display window. Powerful layout editing The Kaleido-Edit software provided with Kaleido-Alto allows the display elements to be customized from an external PC, including window aspect ratios, sizes and positions, as well as the assignments of source IDs, audio meters, tallies, video assignment and alarm status indicators. Multiple layouts can be stored on the system and recalled afterwards. Each window can be configured for 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratios, and can be independently sized and positioned. Configurable audio meters and monitoring Embedded audio can be de-multiplexed from an SDI signal to provide four stereo peak meters displayed on-screen with audio phase correlation metering. In addition, optional input mezzanines allow the display of AES/EBU audio, or analog stereo meters, and any pair can be selected to the AES or Analog Stereo monitoring output. Clocks and timers Multiple analog and digital clocks can be displayed with programmable offsets and configurable colors. Addressable count up/down timers can also be controlled by a mouse. Clocks can be synchronized with Time Code input using the Miranda Little-Red LTC Reader to RS-232 option Easy control and configuration Kaleido-Alto allows multi-user access via a TCP-IP network for layout editing. System configuration and control can be performed with a mouse and a keyboard. An optional remote panel quickens every day operations such as recalling layouts, selection of a window full screen, or the selection of an audio pair to the monitoring output. 4 Tango: SDI quad-split processor 11 Source ID Static or Slave from a Router Tango is a compact but high quality SDI quad-splitter, which is ideal for high density and critical monitoring applications. KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS f Display 4 signals on a single display f Four 4:2:2 SDI inputs Tango can simultaneously display up to four SDI signals on a single high-resolution computer, projection or plasma display. Featuring full -bit processing and pixel mapping, Tango can be used for critical monitoring applications. Tango's design features a lack of scaling in quad-split mode, and the best performance is achieved when it is used with a CRT monitor, revealing all pixels intact. The Tango is also compatible with digital displays such as LCD, plasma and other digital devices, by performing a fixed SVGA resolution (DD mode). Tango supports both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. Each window includes under monitor source IDs and dual tally indicators. Source IDs can be static or slaved to a routing switcher or under monitor display controller.
