WLEY-FM uses the IBA Contact List for EEO outreach purposes. 4 Attachment B Supplemental Recruitment Activities The Employment Unit participated in the following Supplemental Recruitment Initiatives during the period covered by this report. (1) Initiative: Job & Career Fairs (a) On November 4 th, 2014, WLEY-FM s Marketing Promotions Coordinator and street-team member attended the Chicago, Cook County and Illinois Diversity Employment Day. The station received job applications at the fair and also aired public service announcements promoting the fair. (b) On November 17 th, 2014, WLEY-FM s Marketing Promotions Coordinator and street-team member attended the Coast To Coast Career Fair. The station received job applications at the fair and also aired public service announcements promoting the fair. (c) On April 29th, 2015, WLEY-FM attended the Annual Diversity Job Fair. The station received job applications at the fair and also aired public service announcements promoting the fair. (d) On May 18 th, 2015, WLEY-FM attended the Coast to Coast Career Fair. The station received job applications at the fair and also aired public service announcements promoting the fair. (2) Initiative: Internship Program The employment unit operates an internship program which allows interns to gain experience in many areas of the radio industry. Internships are available year round, and students generally earn academic credits. During the period covered by this report, WLEY-FM had the following interns: Programming Department one student from Illinois Center for Broadcasting (August 9, 2014 December 31st, 2014). Programming Department one student from Northeastern Illinois University (April 9, 2014 July 3, 2014). Programming Department one student from Illinois Center for Broadcasting ( April 2014 July 31 st, 2015). Programming Department one student from Illinois Center for Broadcasting (March 3 rd, 2015 present). Promotions Department one student from Illinois Center for Broadcasting (September 29 th, 2014 December 31 st, 2014). Promotions Department one student from Illinois Center for Broadcasting (October 8 th, 2014 December 31 st, 2014). Promotions Department one student from DePaul University (August 1st, 2014 December 31 st, 2014). Engineering Department one student from DePaul University (August 1, 2014 December 31 st, 2014).

5 (3) Initiative: EEO/Discrimination Training for Management and Personnel All new hires take the Sexual Harassment course on Preventing Workplace Harassment. (4) Initiative: Management Training The station s business manager participated in a SBS C ompliance Training session which focused on legal issues with respect to hiring and EEO compliance (September 25, 2014) (5) Participation in Educational Institution and Community Events (a) WLEY-FM participated in conjunction with the Chicago Bears in the Super Shuffle 5K (September 4th, 2014) promoting a healthier living event at no cost to the attendees. The event promoted a better, healthier and longer lifestyle. (b) WLEY-FM participated in a Sagrado Corazon (July 5th, 2015), which is a church festival in July. The festival was an informational fair that provided women with Health and Higher Education information for women all while raising money to repair Sagrado Corazon church. (c) WLEY-FM participated in the Cop on the Roof on May 29 th, It was a fundraiser to raise donations for The Law Enforcement Torch Run benefiting Special Olympics of Illinois. (d) WLEY-FM participated in the Lurie Children s Hospital of Chicago Radiothon on June 11 th and 12 th, WLEY-FM conducted a Live Broadcast where the staff of Lurie was accepting donations. WLEY-FM donated air time and commercial spot bank to promote the Radiothon.
