3 MERVYN'S VENDOR HANGER PROGRAM Objective In an effort to facilitate our Logistics process and receipt of Floor Ready merchandise, Mervyns has implemented a standardized hanger program. We have chosen Plasti-form as our exclusive hanger supplier for several reasons including; size and color consistency and non yellowing properties of the clear hangers. Both Mervyns and the Vendor benefit with lower costs from our unique reuse program and with our exclusive contract with Plasti-form. As a partner in our business, we require your adherence to the following guidelines: - All merchandise shipped to Mervyns that will be presented on a hanger must also have the correct child resistant versa tab neck sizer in the appropriate place on the hanger. Failure to comply with our pre-hanging requirement on each unit received at Mervyns will result in a monetary chargeback deduction against your next invoice payment. See list of chargebacks located in the Compliance Program section. Responsibilities Vendor A vendor must order in pre-determined minimum quantities and is responsible for any unused hangers. The cost of the hangers and freight is the responsibility of the vendor placing the order. Plasti-form Plasti-form is responsible for manufacturing and meeting pre-defined standards. Plasti-form will acknowledge receipt (confirmation) of order and will provide delivery information to the vendor. All hangers will be billed direct to the vendor. Information is subject to change. Frequently Asked Questions QUESTIONS Who pays for hangers? How do I obtain the hanger style number? Where and how should I hang the garment on the hanger? Is it my responsibility to hang the merchandise? Are Versa Tab Sizers required? Who do I contact at Mervyns with questions? ANSWERS It is the vendor's responsibility to pay for all hangers and sizers. The style numbers are provided in this hanger manual. Refer to the by garment type. Yes. You will receive a chargeback, if the merchandise is not hung. Yes. Colored sizers are required on all hangers except bottom coordinate loop hangers.
