2 What s New? Thanks to everyone across the resort that has helped with this project. It takes a VILLAGE!

4 Tip of the Week Happy Feet When talking about ski boots with our visitors, sometimes the easiest way to make a point, is to talk about work. We all have to do it, and it pays for many great things in life. There are certain ways to dress for work, whether you re a doctor or steelworker. Knowing those tips and tricks will eventually add to your overall success. All too often I see people skipping skiing because their feet are bothering them. Dress your feet right and you ll be skiing every day. At work and play, staying out there having fun on the hill is important. Many ski boot problems start with the sock. A clean dry sock transfers perspiration to the liner. A thin synthetic or wool sock makes it easier to slip into a tight boot. Socks that are wet or clammy breed stink and that evil eye from your co-workers in the locker room. Your feet sweat a lot. One foot can sweat more than both hands. Problems start with moisture from leakage and perspiration. Put your boots on the drier and pull the liners every week or so. A simple tricks to keep you going all season long- change your socks often. I have guys come in brag they ve worn a sock for a month straight! What s cool about that? In your daily uniform, a clean sock is essential. A successful welder knows the right equipment to make the paycheck happen. His torch is your boots. Stephen McDonals, C. Ped works in Jackson Hole Sports
5 Always an Ambassador Remember the little things become the big things. When a guest visits Jackson Hole they are blown away by our hospitality because we are authentic. Being an ambassador doesn t mean we always know the right answers, being an ambassador s means remembering that we are a part of something amazing and sharing it with our visitors. Here is a great example of a simple way to make a guest day shared with us during orientation by Benjamin Guest arrived after tram had closed for the day. The guest was super bummed. Benjamin informed them that the Gondi was open and turned it around Benjamin could have easily just walked away yep, the tram is closed but instead he focused what was open. Focus on what you can do not what you can t do. If you provide a moment of wow for a guest or witness one of you fellow ambassadors changing a guest day share it with us. Nicole.brittingham@jacksonhole.com with the subject: ambassador stories.
