1 RBS-UB Dual Degree Program School of Business, Renmin University of China School of Management, University at Buffalo RBS Dean s Message Founded in 1950 and initiated in 1991, the School of Business, Renmin University of China (RBS) is one of the first business schools to offer MBA education in China, and is the key base for MBA education. RBS has formed unique features during the development of its MBA education as captured in the SAIL plan: spiritual reconstruction, action orientation, international perspectives and learning through self-construction. We aim to transform students into management elites with practical abilities, human qualities, innovative spirits that will engage and shape business practices in China. Accredited by EQUIS, RBS was ranked third in the Business Administration discipline in the national assessment of academic disciplines by the Ministry of Education. Over the past 22 years, we have fostered more than 5,200 MBA students. Program Overview The dual degree program between RBS and UB offers truly global perspectives on business management and allows students to earn MBA degrees from two of the most prestigious universities. Under the joint academic agreement MBA students in either RBS or UB will have the opportunity to study in the partner school for a whole year. After meeting all the requirements of both schools, students will be conferred with MBA degrees by RBS and UB. The one year in Beijing and one year in New York study mode saves time and cost. The program will build language capacity, develop understanding of different business systems, and ready students for business networks in both China and America.
