Southern Adelaide LHN provides a range of acute and sub acute health services for people of all ages, and has three hospitals, Flinders Medical Centre, Noarlunga Hospital and the Repatriation General Hospital. SUMMARY OF THE BROAD PURPOSE OF THE POSITION and its responsibilities/duties The Consultant Radiologist is responsible to the Medical Imaging Campus Clinical Head, for delivering Medical Imaging Services of the highest possible standards to patients of the Repatriation General Hospital both in terms of individual performance and by contributing to a multi-disciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care, teaching and research. 3. REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS (to whom the person reports, staff for whom the person is responsible, and other significant connections and working relationships within the organisation) The incumbent will report to the Campus Clinical Head in relation to the management of patients and the supervision and training of advanced trainees (registrars). 4. SPECIAL CONDITIONS (such as non-metropolitan location, travel requirements, frequent overtime, etc) Participating in a credentialing process in line with Accreditation requirements. Job and Person Specifications are reviewed regularly as part of the ongoing Performance Development process. May be required to work within other locations of the Southern Adelaide LHN.
