Minimally invasive procedures. 6 back and spine center Shorter hospital stays. Faster healing. Fewer complications. Quicker recovery times. These are the advantages of minimally invasive surgical procedures at the Back and Spine Center. Assisted by sophisticated computers, our neurosurgeons can reconstruct spinal columns, insert artificial discs, repair fractures and relieve pinched nerves with tiny incisions and often on an outpatient basis. One example, known as XLIF, allows us to perform spinal fusions that offer shorter hospital stays, less scarring and less post-operative discomfort. The procedure is less traumatic to abdominal organs, muscle tissues and blood vessels, because it goes through the side of the body instead of through the front. The lateral muscles are gently separated along the fibers to avoid cutting and tearing; no major organs are disturbed. At the Back and Spine Center, our goal is to offer our patients the latest in minimally invasive procedures to get you back to life faster.
