Your opportunity The Change Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing the change management strategy and associated plans and activities required to enact the significant transformation agenda across the Strategic Procurement and Supply function. The Change Lead will also ensure that milestones and deliverables are clearly defined and that performance is being managed rigorously and transparently. The incumbent will be required to develop and utilise tools and initiatives that will drive the behavioural, process and system changes required to support the transformation, to put measures in place that will demonstrate that new ways of working are being embedded and that planned benefits are being fully realised. The Change Lead, working in close liasion with key members of the Strategic Procurement and Supply leadership team as well as with communications and human resource leads, will be integral in supporting internal teams, customer teams and key stakeholders through the transformation. Your role Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with QPS values as outlined above Lead the development and implementation of the change management strategy and associated plans and activities required to enact the significant transformation agenda across the Strategic Procurement and Supply function Ensure that plan milestones and deliverables are clearly defined and that performance is being managed rigorously and transparently Develop and utilise tools and initiatives that will drive the behavioural, process and system changes required to support the transformation Working closely with the CPO and leadership team, ensure that planned activities deliver and embed change in a co-ordinated and collaborative way, minimising the impact on staff, customers and suppliers Set up a change network to support the delivery and embedding of new initiatives and new ways of working Establish and maintain a detailed understanding of the target audiences for change and adjust strategies and delivery methods accordingly Put measures in place that will demonstrate that new ways of working are being embedded and that planned benefits are being fully realised Provide training in best practice change management techniques and methods, to leaders and other key staff within the function Apply a pro-active hands-on approach to developing, documenting and delivering support materials, tools and other mechanisms that will help to support staff through the planned changes Build and maintain strong relationships with the Communication and Human Resources Leads supporting the transformation agenda to ensure appropriate awareness of the change and its impact as well as adherence with relevant process, policy and requirements Champion change management disciplines, providing a consistent approach to change management processes, structures, and tools Mandatory qualifications/professional registration/other requirements Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be highly regarded. - 2 of 5 -

Your employer Health Support Queensland Health Support Queensland (HSQ) is an organisational Division of the Department of Health and delivers a range of support services to enable the delivery of frontline health services. HSQ provides services to all Queensland Hospital and Health Services (HHSs), to other government agencies and to commercial clients. The current services provided by HSQ include: pathology services, procurement and logistics for health related equipment, products and services, biomedical technology services, forensic and scientific services, linen and laundry services, medicines management, 13HEALTH, radiology support and payroll. - 3 of 5 -

HSQ has a staff complement of approximately 4,000 full-time equivalents (FTEs) and has an operating budget of approximately $900 million for the financial year 14/15. HSQ handles the procurement of approximately $1 billion worth of goods on behalf of the Queensland public health system. The Chief Executive is accountable for the day-to-day operation and performance of HSQ. The HSQ Advisory Board has been established to assist the Chief Executive and the Director-General, Department of Health in setting the strategic direction of HSQ.
