2 SEARCH IN LIBRARY CATALOGUES You can find our DigiBib-Portal on our Here you can search in our online resources. Click on the Link DigiBib-Portal on the right side of our homepage. You are forwarded to the main page of our DigiBib-Portal. 2/22

3 Login in with your library data. Type in your search term and choose a catalogue. Click then on the button Start Search. 3/22

4 If you click on the link More search fields you can refine your search results. Click then on Start Search ATTENTION: The Books, you find in this catalogues are not automatically in the Danube-University available. If you need one of these books you can order it via Inter Library Loan. 4/22

5 You will get a result list. On the left side under the category database you can see which catalogues were scanned. Click on the name of the catalogue and you will be linked to the results of this database. Click on the title of the book. 5/22

6 You receive more information about the book. Click on the link Holding Info to see which library has the book in stock. Click on the Link Titel im Gesamtkatalog. You will be forwarded to the Austrian Library Network. 6/22

7 Behind the word Bestand you can see which library has the book in stock. Click on the name of a library and you will be forwarded to their Online Catalogue. Here you can see if the book is available there. 7/22

8 RESEARCH IN JOURNAL DATABASES Select Journals and type in a search term. Click on the button Start Search. You will get a result list. On the left side under the category database you can see which databases were scanned. Click on the name of a database and you will be linked to the result list. 8/22

9 Click on the title of a journal. You receive more information about the journal. 9/22

10 Click on the link bellow the title. You will be forwarded to the homepage of the journal. 10/22

11 The colours show if you have access to the E-Journal. Green means that the journal is available for free. You have access to the full text. Yellow shows you that you have access via the Danube-University Library. You can get the full texts in the University Library. Red means that you don t have access to the full texts. You can read the Abstracts of the article. If you need the full text of one of these articles you can order it via the Document Delivery Service in the University Library. 11/22

12 Journals without a colour are only in print available. You don t have access to one of these via the Internet If you want to refine your search results in the topic journals, click on the slide Additional E-Media 12/22

13 On the left side under the category E-Journals you can list the Journals in subject or alphabetical order. Click on Additional Search to refine your search. 13/22

14 Type in a search term and choose a topic. On the left side you can also choose the access rights. 14/22

15 Click on the button Search for Journals. You will get a result list. 15/22

16 DATABASES You can find the databases under the slide Additional E-Media. Click on the link Licensed Databases. 16/22

17 You will get a list with the licensed Databases of the Danube-University. To choose a database click on the link below the name. 17/22

18 You will be forwarded to the database. Here you can start your search. If you want to access the database from outside the library another login field appears. Sign in with your library data. ATTENTION: You have to be a registered user of the Danube-University Library to gain access to the databases. You can find the information about the access rights on our homepage under point Library Rules. 18/22

19 You have the possibility to search within a topic for databases. Click on the topic. You will get a list with databases. 19/22

20 Databases with the logo of the Danube University are licensed. If you are looking for a special database you can type in the name in the search field on the left side. Then click on the button Search. 20/22
