[SILVERLIGHT PORTFOLIO] This document provides an overview of significant projects accomplished by Soft Prodigy in web development using Microsoft Silverlight. Agile (Scrum) based development methodology was followed to ensure progressive development and parallel customer feedback gathering. The Sprints (development iterations) were planned such that, every 2 weeks we were able to demonstrate/deliver the tested application dump to the client and get feedback for the same

Project Description [Confidential Project] is an exclusive Software-as-a-Service (Saas) site which provides its clients with the ability to manage their wardrobes in a web-based environment. After 1 to 2 client consultations and an approved proposal, the [Confidential Project] team photographs each item of clothing, accessories, valuables in a client s wardrobe. The images are Then either professionally edited or batch edited and then batch uploaded to the clients private and secure online account. From there, the client or those to whom account access has been given is able to manage and interact with their wardrobes in a variety of ways. Clients can view wardrobe items, create outfits, track how many times an item of clothing has been worn, which property the item is located in as well as instant access to world weather, the ability to create packing lists, a virtual dressing room and the ability to assign outfits to events in an online calendar/diary and more. [Confidential Project] is an invaluable service which serves as the client s fashion foundation. 6 Project Industry Confidential CAD, Object Modelling, Architecture, Online Collaboration About [Confidential Project] is a Silverlight 2.0 based application which helps architectures / building contractors to Draw and measure on blueprints under their secure web environment using their mouse and keyboard. The use of deep zoom technology facilitates the user to draw at finer zoom level with accuracy Technologies Involved ASP.NET 2.0, Silverlight 2.0, C#.net, WCF, SQL Server 2005 and LINQ Project Description The [Confidential Project] Application is a comprehensive web application that enables architects to upload, share and customize building plans blueprints into their own secure web application. From there they may choose to measure the blueprint files using pointing devices. User may transfer the measured values directly into a spreadsheet for use when creating a detailed project estimate. The value inside the spreadsheet will be represented as a range name in Excel. The application supports the user in transferring measured values directly into Microsoft Excel or into his own Google spreadsheet. 8 Project Industry Confidential IPTV, Live Streaming, Multi-casting Technologies Involved C#.NET, WCF, Silverlight, Open Inviter Project Description In an era of heightened customer demands and increased competition, live streaming through web has become a crucially important mechanism to cost-effectively serve customers and broadcast different TV channels. [Confidential Project] aims not only to broadcast live streaming, but also ensure that it provides the same level of out-standing service across channels to give a consistent customer experience. To meet this objective, [Confidential Project] launched a web based solution that gives customers a high end interactive user interface to see live TV channels & share their views socially. Many of the current day functionalities were missing and documentation was scarce. Nevertheless, development members at SoftProdigy teamed up to put together and deliver this project on time in budget. [Confidential Project]delivers live tracking of motorsports events to audience, pit and remote spectators Application Business Domain Windows Mobile, GPS, Compact Framework Project Challenges Load and start-up Silverlight application is hosted in a web-page. TrackId is passed as Query String parameter. When application is loaded, it gets track image from the Communications Manager (CM). Driver events will automatically start being raised in the Communications Manager: DriverRaceDataChanged (GpsTimestamp, Position, Heading, Speed, G-Forces, Heart rate) Driver details, such as name, number, photo etc. will be available via CM. Rendering of race action Each time a DriverRaceDataChanged event occurs, the position of the car on the track get updated, including the glowing trail. Further, lap time is calculated and updated in the UI ( Last laptime and Best lap time of the driver info box) when crossing the finish line. Zooming and Centring The user can zoom in/out by clicking buttons in a small control panel i.e. in the top of the screen. Project Duration 4 months
