(928) FAX (928) Thank you for your inquiry concerning a certificated position in the Joseph City Unified School District #2. Enclosed you will find an application and salary schedule. Application screening, which includes reference checks, will be conducted once your application is completed and a position is identified for which you are qualified. Depending on the number of applicants for the particular job vacancy, either all candidates with the required experience and credentials or only those with superior experience and credentials will be interviewed. APPLICATION PROCEDURES As an applicant for a certificated position in the Joseph City Public Schools, you must: 1. File a completed application with the District Office. 2. Submit a copy of the following: A high School transcript and/or diploma. A complete transcript of any college or university credits you have earned. Three letters of reference, preferably from previous supervisors or individuals who are familiar with your work. If selected for an interview, your current supervisor may be contacted following the interview. Copies of any licenses/certificates you hold (e.g. AZ substitute teacher certificate, plumber license, electrician license, etc.) 3. You should be specific as to the position desire. 4. Interviews will not be granted until your file is complete with application, transcripts/diploma, licenses/certificates, and three letters of reference. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To be a qualified educator within the definition of Arizona Statutes, a person must possess a valid certificate issued by the lawful authorities of the State of Arizona.
