2 The partnership between URBASER and PPC was sealed with the incorporation of Waste Syclo S.A. in Greece in February of 2011 The full brand name of the company is WASTE SYCLO SA, and will deal with waste treatment as well as all other aspects of Waste Management in the Republic of Greece. 3 THE KEY COMPONENTS OF WASTE SYCLO The familiarity and long experience that PPC has in the construction, operation and maintenance of complex high-tech industrial projects in Greece and the expertise and specialized experience of URBASER SA in waste management and treatment worldwide, were the key component which brought the two companies together in an effort to be able to provide sustainable, technologically advanced and environmentally friendly solutions to waste management related projects. In addition of the specialized proven track record and technical capabilities, Waste Syclo is combining also PPC s and URBASER s financial strength which is an vital ingredient for securing the financial sustainability of any projects. PPC is the leading company in Greece in energy production 41 Plants for the pre-treatment of solid urban waste with an installed capacity of 6,761,016 tons/year. 8 Energy recovery plants with a treatment capacity of 2,076, tons/year. 19 Plants for the biomethanization (Anaerobic) of organic fractions with an installed capacity of 1, , tons/year. 47 Composting installations with an installed capacity of 2,479,615 tons/year. 64 Transfer plant installations with an installed capacity of 6,825,414 tons/year. 46 Controlled waste landfills with an installed capacity of 8,737,040 tons/year. 8Waste dump degasification installations which produce 120 Hm3/year of biogas. Inaddition, i it treated and eliminated i last year, 4.6 million tons of inert waste and 150, tons of industrial i waste; 110, tons for the regeneration of mineral oils and 105, tons of Marpol-type oils. 4 Latest action of Waste Syclo: We have participated and successfully been sort listed in the first PPP public tender in Greece, in the city of Kozani, with object the: Study, financing, construction, maintenance and operation of infrastructure of the Integrated Waste Management System (IWMS) of the West Macedonia Periphery with Public Private Partnership (PPP) Synopsis of the Project: 27 year contract for the build and operate the Integrated Waste Management system of the Kozani City. Includes: -Build and Operate 10 waste transfer station -Build and Operate one sanitary landfill -Design, Build - Operation and maintain of a waste treatment plant. The waste quantity is t/y MSW and that amount might increase. The budget is calculated approx. 116 mil Euros Page 4
