12 What our stakeholders are saying Patient comment: Great care, great people. I don t want to leave! They treated me like family! Couldn t have been any better! Physician comment: As a physician, I can tell you that there s a special bond between a patient and their doctor. When you work with a patient, even if it s just one time, your relationship goes beyond just providing a service. You aren t just a doctor; you become a friend, a confidant or sometimes, a shoulder to cry on. That s what I love about Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center; this hospital provides an environment that encourages physicians, including myself, to push beyond the traditional doctor-patient relationship. ~Julie Schneider, MD Team member comment I feel that I am making a difference in someone's life, and that could be a patient or co-worker. I strive to serve as a the Lord did and continues to do. I feel like even though I am not head of a department or a doctor, the things I do everyday for my patients are of high importance and really make a difference in the patient s life and experience at our hospital.
