Polytechnic West will confirm successful student placements via an to the school. Letter of offer documentation will then be sent to your parent/guardian home or address. It is important that you officially accept the offer by the due date. Failure to accept the offer will result in your place being offered to another student. I believe a VET Pathway in school provides great insight into what you can achieve in your chosen career. Robert Rubery 2014 Vocational Education and Training Beazley Medalist I was finishing year 11 and 12 at high school and had a passion for computers, IT and digital media. This passion led me to taking the more hands-on VET for Schools pathway at Polytechnic West. I thought it was a great idea to do that because I felt I wasn t quite ready to go straight into university after school. I thoroughly enjoyed it and believe it is a great way to learn industry specific skills you would otherwise miss out on through high school if you jumped straight to university. I d say honestly give the VET pathway fair consideration and don t dismiss that as a sort of easier option, because it will definitely get you somewhere. All the work experience has helped me grow as a person.
