(Medical and Dental School of Cologne, Germany) Invited visiting researcher (University of Turku, Department of Prosthetic Dentistry and Biomaterials Research, Finland) 2003 Doctorate in Medical Sciences (Ph.D) (University of Groningen, Department of Dentistry and Dental Hygiene, The Netherlands) 2007-present Professor and Research Associate at the Clinical Dental Biomaterials (University Medical Center Groningen, Department of Dentistry and Dental Hygiene, The Netherlands) 2009-present Professor and Head of Dental Materials Unit (University of Zurich, Dental School, Zurich, Switzerland) She has authored more than 200 scientific and clinical articles in peer-reviewed journals, has given over 400 presentations at international scientific meetings, is a frequent lecturer at scientific meetings, receiver of several international awards and has held numerous continuing education courses in Europe. She serves also for the editorial boards of several scientific journals. Her clinical expertise is on reconstructive dentistry with a particular emphasis on adhesive applications. 1
