1 PRODUCT: SEL-SV--1-O-K6 TECHNICAL SHEET 1/7 APPLICATION Flame detector sensor-conveyer recommended for systems with mono or multi-burners, for industrial or commercial use of all powers, using gas, oil or any other fuel which may provoke the emission of ultraviolet or visible rays (yellow flame), with discontinuous use cycle, that is, which turns the burner On/Off in less than 24h, It is equipped with failure self-checking circuit, every 4 seconds of operation. ABNT NBR 12313, item , states it is obligatory to use failure self-checking sensors in burners with power equal or above Kcal, which operate 24h or more, without being turned off at least once. This product meets the requirements of ABNT NBR regulation. reviewed on Sept./2000. Equipped with sensitivity sensor, which facilitates its use in applications with multi-burners, for discrimination of adjacent flames and signal conveying circuit. This allows its application in distances up to 500 meters between the sensor and the flame detection relay or programmer. It is used with burners using gas, oil or any other type of fuel, depending on the sensor chosen: A) OPERATION TEMPERATURE FROM 0ºC to +60ºC (sensor + conveyer) SEL-SV-T0-1-O 3 -K6 for flame detection via ultraviolet radiation sensor. SEL-SV-V0-1-O 3 -K6 - for flame detection via visible radiation sensor B) OPERATION TEMPERATURE FROM -20ºC to +105ºC (no conveyer) SEL-SV-U2-0-O3-K6 for flame detection using ultraviolet radiation sensor. In this version, the distance between the ACS-TX conveyor and the sensor; relay; programmer, should be limited to 8 meters. Attention: >Use clean and dry air with θ < 40º C; flow > 5 scfm; pressure > pressure in the combustion chamber, in at least 300mm of water column. The sensor should see the flame (if possible, the first 30% of it) from the burner nozzle, where the emission of visible radiation is higher.
