7 Laura identifies as a White female who is on the softball team. She explains being referred to mental health counseling by her softball coach. She also shared that several close friends suggested she seek professional help because of excessive drinking that leads to intoxication. She stated that her drinking also leads to sexual encounters with friends she has felt attracted to. There s more. 7

Would you allow Laura to form her Tx plan or would you suggest the content of the plan (i.e. problem, goals, objectives)? What multicultural factors did you consider or did not consider when creating the Tx plan for Laura? What developmental factors did you consider or did not consider when creating the Tx plan for Laura? 8
