2 Old School Old School was originally inspired by the 2003 blockbuster movie starring Will Ferrell, Luke Wilson and Vince Vaughn. It s a comedy about a group of adult friends that create a fraternity for people of any age on a college campus. The movie inspired us to purchase several fraternity houses on Florida State s campus where we invested over $2.5 million in renovations. Subsequently, we created a prestigious organization now referred to as the Old School Club. Our Members are Florida State University alumni, fans, and supporters that gather at the Club and around the world to celebrate and enjoy our mutual passion for our beloved Seminoles. Members join together and enjoy a first-class experience in a resort atmosphere. Located in the middle of campus and less than a mile from Doak Campbell Stadium, our private events include live entertainment, chef inspired foods and beverages served poolside or in a private cabana. Detailed information is available at Society Foundation The Society Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to using its vast resources to help charities and individuals in need raise money and awareness. Many organizations do not have the resources necessary to do this on their own. Created by lifelong Floridians and some of the state s most prominent business leaders, the Society Foundation provides unparalleled donor access, fundraising support, advocacy consulting, event planning, promotion, marketing resources, infrastructure and support to assist charities in implementing successful fundraising campaigns and events. In just four (4) short years, Society Foundation has donated over $500,000 to twenty-two (22) charities throughout the state of Florida. The Old School Open The Old School Open is an annual charity golf tournament that was created five (5) years ago with a mission to support philanthropic causes in the local community and State of Florida. It is the highest grossing annual golf tournament in the region. Society Foundation has donated over $500,000 to twenty-two (22) charities throughout the state of Florida. The event is a four (4) day action-packed weekend. Details are below and on our website at SCHEDULE: THURSDAY - WINE DINNER AUCTION CONCERT PRESENTED BY FRLA Taking place in downtown Tallahassee we kick off the weekend with the Old School Wine Dinner Auction Concert. Legendary football coach, Bobby Bowden, will be our celebrity guest and key note speaker for the evening and he will also be playing in the golf tournament. The wine dinner will include an open bar, wine and craft beer tastings from some, a silent and live auction, and a buffet-styled dinner from a collection of some of Tallahassee s finest restaurants such as 101 Restaurant, Harry s Seafood Bar & Grill, Carrabba s Italian Grill and the Edison. We will also enjoy live musical performances from the soulful pianist, Rebecca Epstein, and our favorite one-man-band coming in hot from Las Vegas, Nevada, Mr. Dan Fester! 3 FRIDAY OLD SCHOOL OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT PRESENTED BY NAPLETON INFINITI The golf tournament is being held at the exclusive Southwood Golf Club. This is not your average charity golf tournament; we start our morning warm up with Irish bagpipes and drums to get you in the golf mood. Then comes the helicopter ball drop where major prizes are given away to a few lucky winners. The tournament falls on September 11th. We will be honoring our military, police, and firefighters with a special tribute in the morning. There is also a Best-Dressed Competition. Get in the spirit and dress in red, white, blue or camouflage to show your support. And be sure to come on an empty stomach as there will be chef inspired foods and beverages at almost every hole on the course. The Old School Tailgate Party will start immediately after the game from 2:00pm to 9:00pm. SUNDAY BRUNCH WITH CHEF ART SMITH PRESENTED BY UNITEDHEALTH GROUP World renowned chef, Art Smith, will be closing out the weekend with a special brunch at Tallahassee s newest restaurant, The Edison. Charles Arthur Art Smith is an American chef who has worked for former Florida governor Bob Graham and until 2007 was personal chef to Oprah Winfrey. His expertise is Southern cuisine and he now owns and operates some of the best restaurants across America including Table 52, Southern Art, and Art and Soul. In that spirit we will be serving his world famous fried chicken and waffles among other interesting dishes.

7 BENEFITTING CHARITIES FRLA Educational Foundation The FRLA Educational Foundation, one of the organizations benefitting from the money raised, seeks to increase quality and employability of high school graduates through job skill training, and career and higher education opportunities within the hospitality industry. Students are introduced to careers in foodservice and lodging and are taught basic skills needed for success in these industries. This is accomplished through dynamic and comprehensive curriculum coupled with on-the-job training. The money raised at the Old School Open has consistently bolstered our efforts to help students succeed after high school, said Carol Dover, President and CEO of FRLA, one of the benefitting charities.
