8 Blanchard has officially launched two new mini scleral GP contact lens designs, Onefit P+A series and Onefit C series. These new additions complement msd in the Blanchard family of mini scleral lenses. The Onefit P+A series is designed to completely vault corneas with normal prolate profiles, astigmatic corneas, post-surgical (grafts, post RK, LASIK, PRK), moderately irregular corneas, and emergent or fruste keratoconus cases. Primary candidates for the lens include young contact lens patients, athletes, active adults and youth, soft lens patients with end-of-day dryness discomfort, patients with moderate ocular surface disease, and GP intolerant patients who are unsatisfied with hybrid, spherical soft, and soft toric lenses due to their compromised visual acuity, marginal fitting success and lens longevity.
