28 TARSYS: MAM TARSYS is a powerful user oriented archive system addressing disk storage and tape library seen by operators as an unique archive. Tape library management is so efficient that the concept of nearonline archive has no more sense for users. System capability is unlimited and can be increased at any time. TARSYS is integrated in the content production workflow via MPM with newsroom, edition, ingest and playout systems exchanging metadata and medias with any proprietary or third party equipment.
