3 online sales Sell your images online. Our website is specifically a i m e d a t s c h o o l s photographers. Your parents have the choice, through the website, of ordering online. Before a specific date these orders are then collated and returned back to the school with the main schools order. Orders placed online after the specified date will be sent out direct to their home address with a post and pack charge added, all this is made clear on the proof and at the point of ordering. The parents can collect their children s images year on year in a secure personalised folder, to use for future products and printing. This system has a management fee of vat or 6% of sales. The system encourages reorders and sales from previous years images, it also enables you the option of Time Line Products placing all the images together in one fantastic product in the children s final year at their school. It is also very useful at displaying and selling gift products that you may not want to appear on the initial leaflet, giving you a window to your product range allowing you to up sell. This system locks the school to you, as the system is linked specifically to you and not the school, if you do not get the booking then the parents loose the link to their previous images. 11 group prints stitched groups It is very difficult to reinvent the wheel but stitched Lifestyle Groups may have done just that. These strikingly casual, fun and relaxed groups have refreshed the schools group photograph and brought a breath of fresh air to the schools market like no other schools product has for years. The opportunity to be more creative and produce something new has proved a god send to most schools photographers. In calling the pupils forward in small groups of 3, 4 or 5 pupils at a time, you can group friends together maximising your sales potential. Shooting smaller groups allows you to use colourful props or include the class mascot whether it is a real animal or toy. Stitching your smaller groups together to produce the final stunning group is simple, all you need to do is send the images through to us here at Redwood and relax as we will take care of the rest. It can be produced with the school logo, date and school name on the top and can also have the children's names added underneath each image. You can order a conventional photograph rolled in a tube or packed in a card mount, framed if required. Class Group Composite 16 Class Group Composite Photographs Photographers who do not have the capability to photograph panoramic groups have the option of a class group composite. 18 how to send us your images FTP - File Transfer Protocol This simple but effective way of transferring your images through to the laboratory is now the most popular way most professional s deal with their lab. By visiting our website and filling out the FTP request form we will set you up with a completely secure private link to Redwood. The advantages of using Redwood s FTP, apart from the obvious, an instant and labour saving connection to the lab, is that we pride ourselves on keeping that personal and friendly contact with all our customers, no matter where they are within the UK. Using Redwood means that you are not a faceless entity at the end of a button; you will be looked after in a very real and personal way by our dedicated team. CD / DVD CD s & DVD s are a very low cost way of sending your work through to the lab, whether you are posting it through the door yourself or relying on Royal Mail. It s an ideal way to transfer your bulk image orders. USB Memory Stick USB memory stick s are similar to CD s and DVD s, in that they are a great way to send and communicate your order to the lab. They are more expensive to purchase than a CD therefore you risk more when entrusting delivery to a third party. Camera cards Sending your orders to the lab via a camera card means all your images will make it to the lab, there would be no chance of accidentally missing off that one vital image that completes your order as there is when transferring your images to another storage medium. (info@redwoodphoto.com) is unsuitable and will not cope with large single or bulk image transfer; however it is ideal in an emergency or when you are on a tight deadline to send through one or two urgent images. 18
