Award: $12, Biscayne BLVD 2nd FL Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 120 Grant funds will be used to support AIMM Higher for 120 students ages 3-18, year-round at In-Motion Performing Arts Center in Miami, Florida. Program activities will include dance, drama, musical theater instruction, art education and mentorship for children. Participants will engage in acting, dancing and cultural arts programs, and benefit from improved reading, critical-thinking and positive communication skills. Grant #: 2 - All Florida Youth Orchestra, Incorporated dba Florida Youth Orchestra Award: $25, N 40 AVE Hollywood, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 2450 Grant funds will be used to support the STEPS and "Happy Concerts" programs for over 2,000 children, ages 2-19, in select Title l schools and under-served communities in Miami-Dade County. Activities will include free music lessons, instruments, performances and music education. Participants will learn to play musical instruments and appreciate music, developing diligence, concentration, self-esteem and cultural enrichment. Grant #: 3 - Alliance for Musical Arts Productions, Inc. Award: $10, NW 199 ST Miami Gardens, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 30 Grant funds will be used to support the Musical Arts, Theater & Tutoring (M.A.T.T) Youth Drum Line Program for 30 students ages 7-16, at the Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex in Miami Gardens. Program activities will include music theory, sight reading, applied percussion skills and performances. Participants will engage in drum line/percussion activities and benefit from learning music and social skills. Grant #: 4 - American Children's Orchestras for Peace, Inc. Award: $33, SW 3 AVE Suite 308 Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 1400 Grant funds will be used to support American Children's Orchestras for 1,400 students ages 6-18, at schools and parks in Little Haiti, Allapatah, Overtown, Little Havana and Hialeah. Program activities include year-round after school programs and musical performances throughout Miami-Dade County. Participants will engage in music lessons and benefit from learning instrumental technique, music theory and music history. P a g e 1

2 Grant #: 5 - Area Performance Gallery, Inc. dba Area Stage Company Award: $28, South Dixie HWY Suite 103 Coral Gables, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 600 Grant funds will be used to support the Area Stage Conservatory Program for 600 students ages 7-18, at the Area Stage Conservatory, International Studies Preparatory Academy (ISPA), Coral Reef Senior High, Coral Gables Senior High, Ponce de Leon Middle, and South Miami K-8. Area Stage offers a unique program that brings industry professionals to the classroom, providing students with curriculum based training and real life theatrical experience. Grant #: 6 - Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra, Inc. Award: $14, College AVE Fort Lauderdale, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 2500 Grant funds will be used to support the "Music for Munchkins" program for 2,500 students ages 0-25, at the Byron Carlyle Theater, Euclid Oval, and Colony Theatre on Miami Beach. Program activities will include live symphonic concerts and interactive lessons for children and families. Participants will engage in listening and learning, and benefit from learning about musical concepts, instruments, and various feelings created by music. Grant #: 7 - Ballet Etudes of South Florida, Inc. Award: $18, W 51 PLACE Hialeah, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 150 Grant funds will be used to support Ballet Etudes' performance season for 150 students ages 6-17, at various venues in Hialeah, Miami and Miami Beach. Program activities will include participation by students in professional classical ballet performances. Students will be have the opportunity to perform in front of large audiences that include friends and relatives, and demonstrate their newly acquired dance skills, fitness, and knowledge about the art of ballet. Grant #: 8 - Diva Arts & Entertainment, Inc. Award: $15, NW 194 ST Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 150 Grant funds will be used to support Diva Arts' overall programming for 150 students ages 3-21 at Diva Arts Dance Studio in Miami Gardens. Program activities include a multidisciplinary performing arts curriculum that trains students in ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip-hop and musical theater. These activities will also expose students to culture and art, enhance their performance skills, and provide them with a well-rounded foundation in the performing arts. P a g e 2

Box Homestead, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 600 Grant funds will be used to support a year round arts program for 600 students ages at enfamilia, Everglades Community Association and four other community centers in Homestead and Florida City. Activities include arts classes, exhibits and performances where students engage in dance, music, drama, creative writing, film production, and visual arts. Students will benefit from learning various arts skills, as well as the causes, consequences and solutions to domestic and teen violence. Grant #: 10 - Fantasy Theatre Factory, Inc. Award: $90, SW 47 ST Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: Grant funds will be used to support Fantasy Theatre Factory's Miami-Dade performances/workshops for 55,000 students ages 0-17, at schools, parks, libraries, festivals, and community centers throughout Miami-Dade County. Program activities will include touring theatre shows and workshops. Participants will engage in theatre arts and benefit from exposure to educational, culturally enriching theatre performances and interactive workshop experiences. Grant #: 11 - Florida Film Institute, Inc. Award: $25, NE 124 ST North Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 240 Grant funds will be used to support Florida Film Institute's CINEMA program for 240 students ages 13-18, at various Miami-Dade County Public Schools and at the Coral Gables Art Cinema. Program activities will include every aspect of filmmaking as an art and a career. Participants will engage in scriptwriting, acting, filming, and directing and benefit from literacy and cinematography skills. Grant #: 12 - Greater Miami Youth Symphony of Dade County, Florida, Inc. Award: $90, Sunset DR Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 900 Grant funds will be used to support concerts and outreach programs for over 900 students ages 5-18, throughout Miami-Dade County. Program activities will include rehearsals, performances, classes, special events, and summer programs. Participants will engage in weekly orchestra/band rehearsals, instrument classes, sectionals, chamber groups, concerto competitions, and outreach and gala concerts, and benefit from increased instrumental and performance skills. Award: $13, NW 192 TERR Miami Gardens, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 7300 Grant funds will be used to support Kinad's year-round Mobile Museum cultural arts program for 7,300 children and youth ages 6 16 from under-served communities across Miami-Dade County. Kinad's programs provide knowledge-based and informative historical exhibits, with a wide variety of materials that introduce children to the cultural significance of the African American perspective and cultural traditions. Grant #: 14 - Miami Children's Chorus, Inc. Award: $90, Sunset DR, #215 Coral Gables, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 350 Grant funds will be used to support the Miami Children s Chorus for more than 350 children ages 8-17 during the Season. Program offerings will take place at the 1st United Methodist Church of Coral Gables, Adrienne Arsht Center (Miami), New World Center (Miami Beach) and the Wertheim Performing Arts Center (Kendall). Program activities will include the study and performance of standard and experimental forms of choral music. The children will learn musicianship and vocal technique. Grant #: 15 - Miami Dance Project, Inc. Award: $36, SW 117 AVE Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 250 Grant funds will be used to support year round dance education and autism movement therapy programs for over 250 students, ages 3-18, at Miami Dance Project studios and two outreach facilities in south Miami-Dade County. Program activities will include intensive dance instruction in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and modern dance, as well as Autism Movement Therapy. Participants will engage in dance activities and benefit from improved dance technique and self-esteem. Grant #: 16 - Miami Momentum Dance Company, Inc. Award: $25,000 PO Box Coconut Grove, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 1680 Grant funds will be used to support Momentum's educational programs for 1,680 students ages 6-17, at multiple locations in diverse neighborhoods throughout Miami-Dade County. Program activities include dance classes, choreography, performances and mentoring for students who want to pursue dance. Participants will engage in ballet, modern, Indian folkloric and Spanish dance, and benefit from physical, cognitive and performance skills acquired in classes and performances. P a g e 4

5 Grant #: 17 - Miami Music Project, Inc Award: $40, Biscayne Blvd., Unit 215 Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 2300 Grant funds will be used to support three annually occurring classical music outreach programs impacting over 2,300 students ages 5-18 and their families, with concentrated education activities during after school hours in Doral, Little Haiti and Liberty City. Program activities include exposure to residency, music education (beginner through advanced) and live performance opportunities for all skill levels. Grant #: 18 - Miami Stage Company/Miami Children's Theater Inc. Award: $90, SW 112 AVE Suite 501 Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 700 Grant funds will be used to support Miami Children's Theater's conservatory training and main stage production programs for approximately 700 students ages 5-18 at the Alper JCC in Kendall, Colony Theater on Miami Beach, Pinecrest Gardens and the Coral Gables Youth Center. Children will receive expert training in the areas of acting, singing and dance and will be empowered to contribute artistic and technical skills towards their production. Grant #: 19 - Miami Theater Center Inc. Award: $90, NE 2 AVE Miami Shores, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: Grant funds will be used to support Miami Theater Center's (MTC's) theater shows and education programs for 16,795 youth ages 5-18, at MTC in Miami Shores. Activities will include 88 full-length and 6 Theater Inclusion (TIP) performances, 11 weeks of theater camp, 40 school workshops, 25 hospital sessions and 30 performances by emerging artists. Diverse youth will benefit from intellectual, social, and emotional stimulation of experiencing high-quality drama, dance and music. Grant #: 20 - Miami Youth Ballet Inc. Award: $18, SW 158 LN Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 4000 Grant funds will be used to support the dance season and educational programs for approximately 4,000 students ages Season activities will include The Nutcracker, Carnival of the Animals and Choreographic Showcase, taking place throughout Miami-Dade County. Dancers will experience expert coaching-training, performance opportunities, participation in the creative process, and awareness of environmental issues and social responsibility. P a g e 5

Award: $5, NW 188 TERR Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 125 Grant funds will be used to support the Youth-in-Arts program for 125 students ages 6-13, at Lillie C. Evans K 8 Center in Liberty City. Program activities will include theater, drama and dance workshops, and performance opportunities. Participants will engage in improvisational theater games, learn popular hip hop and modern dance routines and participate in arts-based violence prevention workshops. Grant #: 22 - South Florida Youth Symphony, Inc. Award: $20, SW 114 AVE Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 210 Grant funds will be used to support general programming for 210 students ages 4-21, at the Pawley Creative Arts Center of Miami Dade College North in Miami Gardens, and Miami Lakes Congregational Church in Miami Lakes. Program activities will include group and individual music lessons, performance opportunities for the students, and trips to hear professional concerts. Participants will engage in musical development and benefit from weekly music classes. Grant #: 23 - The Roxy Theatre Group, Inc. Award: $90, SW 19 ST Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 120 Grant funds will be used to support two main stage musicals for 120 students ages 8-23 at the Roxy Performing Arts Center in unincorporated Miami-Dade County. Program activities also include workshops taught by guest arts professionals such as Broadway Connection. Participants will engage in acting, singing, and dancing, and benefit from learning new musical theater techniques and developing social and team-building skills. Grant #: 24 - The South Florida Boys Choir, Incorporated Award: $16, SW 183 ST Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 100 Grant funds will be used to support the Hope Through Harmony after school program for 100 students ages 7-17, at R. R. Moton Elementary School in West Perrine and neighboring South Miami-Dade communities. Program activities will include artistic training and performance opportunities. Participants will engage in vocal performance (solo voice and choir), dance/movement and benefit from performing arts experiences. P a g e 6

Award: $90, SW 73 ST Miami, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 620 Grant funds will be used to support the TAYB program, Dance as a Vehicle for Success, for 620 students ages 3-18, at its main site in South Miami and four additional sites located in the Little Haiti, West Coconut Grove, Miami Gardens and Homestead. Program activities include high quality dance training and performance opportunities. Participants will engage in ballet, tap and modern dance classes and benefit from focus, attention to detail, team effort and delayed gratification. Grant #: 26 - Walenstein Musical Organization, Inc. Award: $20, NW 168 TERR Miami Gardens, FL Est. # of children/youth to be served: 1915 Grant funds will be used to support WMO's music program for 1,915 students ages 0-21, at various venues throughout Miami-Dade County. Program activities will include seminars, one-on-one and group coaching sessions, master classes, and concerts.
