Perhaps my greatest achievement so far, however, is simply being mother to four happy and healthy children and becoming the proud grandmother of eight. In Florida, my husband and I have been actively involved in the FTAA since our arrival as well as in the purchase of the new Turkish Center. The center is a very meaningful part of our life and is like a second home to us. I am also very proud of the achievements of our many hard working members who have donated so much of their time and efforts to the development and continuing progress of our center. As a Board Member of FTAA, my goal is to increase our membership, to be debt-free in the near future, and to develop more diverse activities for all ages. I look forward to working on the FTAA Board and hope to contribute to the best of my ability.
