2 About the Networking Conference This conference can benefit teachers, school and district leaders and potential trainers at middle grades schools, high schools and technology centers. The Second Annual College- and Career-Readiness Standards Networking Conference is about bringing proven literacy and math strategies into the classroom. It is about helping students succeed in the deep learning necessary to master new college- and career-readiness standards. The conference offers more than 150 sessions on how specially developed tools and strategies, referred to as Literacy Design Collaborative () and Mathematics Design Collaborative (), can advance student achievement. The Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) has worked with schools, districts and states over the past three years to assist teachers and leaders in using these new tools and strategies. Principals and teachers are amazed at students progress, and depth of learning and motivation as all are given grade-level assignments. Join Us! Attending the Networking Conference was an engaging and motivating experience! It gave me the tools and strategies to implement the Common Core Standards in my classroom. My students are now engaging in more meaningful and rigorous discussions and lessons. Katrina Maglaris Teacher Conference Take-Aways Introductory Sessions 1.
