13 Below the Radar BTR produces high end award-winning current affairs, factual and digital documentaries. The project will create a partnership with Jigsaw Productions - an Oscar winning Production Company in New York. Alex Gibney won an Oscar for "Taxi to the Dark Side. A BTR researcher/producer will gain experience in world-leading preproduction and post-production techniques and examine UK projects with Jigsaw.

14 The Glass Studio The Glass Studio researches, designs and creates one-off and limited series of kilnformed glass vessels and bowls for international galleries, exhibitions, collections and undertakes commissions for both the private and corporate sectors. The vision of The Glass Studio is to establish the first facility in Northern Ireland to deliver innovative kiln-forming Master classes and experiences.

15 Counturcarbs Ltd A new business serving Diabetics via a Web based approach together with a downloadable file to handheld devices such as iphones, mobile phones, Blackberries etc. In 2007, the applicant's 8 yr-old son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and Coeliac disease. It is enormously beneficial to accurately count his Carbohydrate intake to determine the quantity of Insulin he requires. The applicants have developed a successful prototype application that, with a database of carbohydrate values for over 3,500 common foodstuffs, can calculate from the weight of a portion the 'carb count'.

16 The Creativity Hub The applicants developed a digital version of The Creativity Hub's successful storytelling game - Rory's Story Cubes for the hugely popular Apple iphone. Rory's Story Cubes is a dice-based storytelling game that encourages adults and children alike to develop their imagination and lateral thinking skills through creative storytelling. The physical version of the game is already used by parents, teachers, therapists, trainers and creative artists of all fields to inspire their creativity.

17 Filmtrip Ltd The Holosuite project is a collaborative project between Filmtrip and the Music, Sensors and Emotion (MuSE) cluster at Queen s University Sonic Arts Research Centre, bringing together the disciplines of film production, music composition, environmental art, technology, engineering and networking to research 'future cinema' and the ever increasing demand for audience interactivity. Oh Yeah Oh Yeah's vision is that it will be the home for music in Northern Ireland and will engage with a wide range of young people who have an interest in music. The aim of the project is to recruit a Creative Development Coordinator to nurture fresh creative industries talent associated with music in Northern Ireland.
