4 02. Solution DeNovius(co) is a unique information system that accurately calculates, manages and reports commissions. It simplifies and optimises every step in the insurance sales chain through a single integrated commission s management tools package. Main Features Agent Management Covers all agent details: multiple agent contracts and variations, agent contract history, agents debts, agent offices (addresses, working hours), sales hierarchy, groups, agent nets, trainings and certificates, sales goals management, performance monitoring. The system automatically calculates different commission types across the whole organisational structure. Portfolio Management Enables portfolio changes and tracking of the history. Provides an import interface for transfer requests (.csv,.xls files), statistical reports and imports from external data sources. Enables enhanced functions for portfolio transfer and import from external data sources. Parameters and configuration All business configurations are based on rules stored in the database. The commission management system provides an intuitive user interface for rule definition and administration. A rule based system enables the definition of multiple factors affecting commissions calculations. Flexible commission configuration makes the operation of the portfolio more efficient. Multiple commission types can be simultaneously managed, including multilevel network management and portfolio management commission. 6 Commission calculation Commission and claw-back calculation can be designed in different ways in order to comply with commission regulations, for example they can be based on premium payment, annual premium on policy or other rules. Additional ad-hoc commission batches or manual calculations can be run. Statistical reports can be generated automatically. Allows on demand re-calculation due to changes in portfolio, settings etc. Maintains history of calculated and paid commissions together with agent s liabilities. Payments and Accounting Agent s tax details, tax advance payments, tax declarations, accounting postings related to commission payments, tax rate settings, deductibles, and other tax settings are managed. Provides total liabilities as well as a complete payment history for agents. Enables payment of commission in form of bank transfers, cash or cheque payment. 05. DeNovius(co) Data Interfaces DeNovius(co) provides standardised data interfaces that ensure accurate data input/output procedures. Input interfaces Supports multiple input data streams through the UBI UNIUS module (Db link, Fox files, Text, Xml files). Supports a number of policy data input types. Policy changes buffering in order to improve system performance. Direct transfer to detailed COM policy structures. Allows product definition imports (commission sensitive data), calculation formulas etc. Output interface Generates agent network correspondence for all stakeholders as well as related reports (commission and debts status, policy commission calculation details, full agent details and more). Provides a data interface supporting any format for large agents and brokers. All reports are generated and disseminated in electronic or print format. Enables payment requests to external systems (or direct integration with the Collection & Disbursement solution DeNovius(cdm)). Creates postings to internal accounting and transfer to Centralised Accounting Module. 4

References Allianz Slovenská poisťovňa Gratex International developed and implemented the sales management module as a part of the UNIUS information system (predecessor of DeNovius solution) in Allianz Slovenská poisťovňa in This module is fully integrated with the other parts of the insurance information system and its functionality has been constantly supported and extended based on customer requirements. The system covers all of the company s insurance and commission needs and processes. Allianz Life Korea Since 2011 Gratex International has been a member of a consortium tasked with the delivery of commission information systems in Allianz Life Korea, South Korea. Allianz DSS Gratex International developed and integrated Sales Management Solution as a part of Pension fund information system into Allianz Slovenská dôchodková správcovská spoločnosť in This system is fully integrated with the other information systems of the pension fund administration company. The Pension fund information system covers all the company s needs and processes related to sales management and commissions. The system is regularly improved and updated according to customer requirements. 6
