4 BUTLER TOWN CENTER Exiting I-75 onto Archer Road, one of the most highly traveled thoroughfares in the city of Gainesville, brings you to the site of Butler Town Center. As Butler Plaza North progresses, the 350,000square-foot Butler Town Center begins construction at Archer Road and SW 34th Street, with traffic counts close to 90,000 cars per day. Butler Town Center is slated to bring new-to-the-market, longawaited shopping and dining options to customers currently seeking alternatives out of the market. Butler Enterprises is dedicated to delivering a unique shopping experience with the addition of two new, synergistic shopping districts. The first is the recently announced expansion, Butler Plaza North, with approximately 725,000 square feet of destination and convenience shopping. Construction for Butler Plaza North will commence late in 2013, with the completed project flanking both sides of the extension of SW 62nd Boulevard in The iconic, 1-million-square-foot Butler Plaza, is not only taking on a new look, but also adding more than a million square feet of power-packed shopping with Butler Plaza North and Butler Town Center, changing the retail landscape of north central Florida.

8 GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA Gainesville is the economic engine of north central Florida, with a diverse growing economy. While the city s extended market totals more than 1,000,000, the primary/secondary market has a population of approximately 450,000. This number does not include the vast majority of students at the University of Florida and Santa Fe College who take up temporary residence in Gainesville throughout the year, and together number approximately 67,000. The distance to any other major city for the majority of the market s consumers, supported by the roadway system, the employment base, the medical facilities, and cultural and sporting attractions of Gainesville, make it the natural uncontested hub of activities for the area. Four different employment sectors provide greater Gainesville with excellent stability, which meant an unemployment rate well below the state s average during the recent downturn. Those employment segments are: education, medical and research, agriculture, and business. Add to this base over 2,000,000 visitors per year, comprised of business travelers, loyal Gator fans who return regularly for athletic and educational activities, and general tourists and snowbirds stopping in Gainesville on their north/south pilgrimages.
