1 The Master of IT and Finance trains financial engineers with a strong capacity to make use of efficient and powerful computational tools, both hardware and software. Students will learn to model complex instruments options, derivatives, securities - and contingent risk situations market, credit and operational taken from the banking, insurance, and brokerage and clearing environments. They will acquire the skills to create programs that deal with these advanced financial technologies as well as learning the fundamental financial legislations. English Develop your understanding and grasp of contemporary English culture and English language. Financial Management Learn how to analyse the financial situation of a company, the competitive and economic context, and use this information for effective decision making. Systems engineering 1 Describing system architecture with UML Design and model the architecture of complex communicating systems using UML. Identify good and bad architecture using Design Patterns and Anti-Patterns. Specify real-time constraints with MARTE. Model a protocol. Project Management Understand the lifecycle of an industrial IT project, its phases and documentation. Learn how to use tools and techniques for planning, budgeting, and organising project resources. Multi-disciplinary Project Apply the tools and techniques presented in the other courses of this module to a yearlong, multi-disciplinary (hardware + software + networks) industrial project. Methodology 1 Technology Project Embark on an independant research project into new, innovative or interesting technologies outside of the academic curriculum.
