2 About Cube Practical & Professional Advice Cube Consulting provides consulting services and software systems to the global mining industry. We are a quality team of geologists, mining engineers and IT professionals with a wide range of skills and experience applicable from advanced exploration projects through to operational mines. Our IT consulting team has established skills in structuring, managing and extracting meaningful information from business data. We have extensive knowledge of database design and performance tuning, within a framework of practical operational advice. 3 Geology Services Cube Consulting geologists all have backgrounds in operational mining, where they each gathered valuable real-world experience allowing them to provide practical, high-quality advice and consulting services. When you engage with the Cube team, you will find there s no back room of junior geologists - the person you meet with is most likely the one who will work on your project, collaborating with specialists as required. We are happy to tackle the difficult problems with experienced geologists and geostatisticians on the team, we firstly want to solve the problem and secondly, we wish to add value to our client s mining company through transferring that knowledge back to the business. 5 Mining Solutions Through many years of working on mine sites and with mining clients, Cube s IT professionals have developed ways of solving common mining problems, with databases at the core of our solutions. This has led to the development of software systems that are complementary to the core mine consulting business of Cube. Our goal is to ensure our customers succeed through practical and professional advice. Cube Consulting has produced a number of software systems to solve interesting and specific business problems some of these systems have gone on to become industry leaders, such as the INX suite of intelligent business process tools. Primary amongst these systems is MPX for Mine Production Management. MPX is a modern production management system used to track material tonnes and grades as well as plant and equipment performance from the mining face to the port; it is used to perform data audit, reporting and reconciliation at any stage throughout the mining, stockpiling, processing and shipping process. 6 IT Consulting Our IT Services team are deployed as Database and Systems Administrators in Australian mining companies and have a reputation for delivering personalised, practical and knowledgeable services to our clients. Cube Consulting has been solving complex datacentric problems for various clients within Australia and internationally for over a decade, offering invaluable experience and industry best practice. We deliver results through pragmatic approaches. We pass on skills and knowledge to our clients on project completion so they can continue to work effectively. Database Administration Cube Consulting has developed a reputation for a high standard of Database Administration. We are experts in the leading database technologies including Microsoft's SQL Server, Oracle and Oracle RDB. 7 Custom Application development Cube Consulting has a small team of developers dedicated to solving problems for which there is no current existing commercial software solution. This team has developed a number of software applications over the past 10 years, many of which have gone on to enjoy commercial success outside of the original mandate, such as the INX suite of intelligent business process products. Our custom development team specialise in turning paper-based processes and business problems into functional desktop or web deployed software systems using rapid development techniques built around Microsoft Technologies.
