1 PTK Transfer Scholarship Information Baker University awards an unlimited number of $1,000 renewable scholarships to eligible Phi Theta Kappa members. A minimum 3.25 GPA, active participation in Phi Theta Kappa, and 12 transferable credit hours are required. Part-time students and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible. Baker University Baldwin City An unlimited number of renewable $1000 supplemental scholarships. A minimum 24 credit hours are required. Part-time student and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible. Application fee is waived if student applies online. Benedictine College Atchison Merit Scholarships Unlimited $2,100 - $ 5,200 per year scholarship available. Student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and an associates degree. 2 Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Grant A renewable Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Grant of $1,000 is awarded to Phi Theta Kappa members transferring to Bethel College. Phi Theta Kappa Grants are awarded to students who have a minimum of 3.2 GPA and 24 transferable credit hours. Part-time students and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible. An unlimited number of grants are available. This grant is in addition to any other academic or performance scholarship. Students who visit campus can have their application fee waived. The award is renewable. Bethel College North Newton Transfer Presidential Academic Award Transfer Presidential Academic Awards are awards available to new transfer students who will be attending ESU full-time during academic year. Eligibility for this award is based on a cumulative 3.25 GPA of 12+ credit hours. Recipients must successfully complete 12+ credit hours per semester. PTK All-USA Academic Team Member - $1,000; PTK All- Academic Team Member - $1,000; GPA - $500; GPA- $800; GPA $1,000. Awards may be renewed two additional years for students transferring as sophomores and one additional year for students transferring as juniors. Renewal amounts are determined by the recipient's cumulative GPA as follows: $1,200 with a GPA; $1,000 with a GPA; and $500 with a GPA. Emporia State University Emporia K-State Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Academic Award The K-State Phi Theta Kappa non-renewable academic award guarantees a total of $2,500 in K-State scholarship assistance. Student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.6, strong leadership in a Phi Theta Kappa Chapter, transfer 24 or more credit hours to K-State. Part-time students and students with previous bachelors degrees are not eligible. Student must enroll at K-State immediately following their attendance at a two-year college. 3 K-State Transfer Scholarship State University awards $2000 non-renewable scholarship to Community College transfer students. To be eligible you must: submit a State University scholarship application by February 1; Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.6; Transfer 24 or more hours to K-State. State University Manhattan K-State Ten non-renewable $3,000 scholarships awarded. The K-State Phi Theta Kappa Academic Award guarantees a total of $3,000 in K-State scholarship assistance. Student must have a cumulative 3.75 GPA, transfer 24 or more credit hours to K-State and have a strong record of leadership in Chapter, State/Regional and International level. Student must be nominated to Phi Theta Kappa All-Academic Team, priority given to Team selections. Part-time students and students with previous bachelors degrees are not eligible. Students must enroll at K-State immediately following their attendance at a two-year college. State University Manhattan Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship An unlimited number of renewable $1,000 per year scholarships are available to members of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and 12 hours of general education credit. This award is stackable with the $7,000 Merit Scholarship. A completed traditional application, official transcripts, proof of Phi Theta Kappa membership, letter of recommendation from a Phi Theta Kappa Chapter Advisor and an interview are required. Phi Theta Kappa Membership must appear on Official Transcripts Newman University Wichita Associates Degree Incentive Scholarship An unlimited amount of $1500 pear year scholarships are awarded to individuals that have completed an Associates Degree. Only students from, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri are eligible. Newman University Wichita Academic Achievement Award This award is available to eligible transfer students transferring to PSU from an accredited college, university or community college. Qualified transfer students must have a minimum of 24 transferable hours earned after high school graduation and a minimum post high school GPA of 3.5. Pittsburg State University Pittsburg Honors College Transfer Scholarship A limited number of Honors College Scholarships awarded. Student must have completed a minimum of 40 college credit hours and have a minimum GPA of 3.75 or membership in Phi Theta Kappa to apply. Pittsburg State University - Pittsburg, 66762

5 Phi Theta Kappa Recognition Award An unlimited number of non-renewable $500 scholarships available. Active members of Phi Theta Kappa are eligible. Proof of membership may be required. Student must meet transfer student admission requirements. Part-time students, graduate students and non-u.s. citizens are not eligible. Pittsburg State University - Pittsburg, Diversity Grant-in-Aid This award is available to eligible transfer students transferring to PSU from an accredited college, university or community college. Qualified transfer students must have a minimum of 24 transferable hours earned after high school graduation, a minimum post high school GPA of 3.5 and meet an area of diversity. Pittsburg State University - Pittsburg, An unlimited number of $5500 per year scholarships for students living on campus and $3500 per year scholarships for students living off of campus are available for members of Phi Theta Kappa with a minimum 3.2 GPA and 24 credit hours. Transcripts and an essay are required. The scholarship is renewable if a 2.0 GPA is maintained. Part-time students and students with a previously earned bachelor degree are not eligible. Sterling College Sterling KU The University of awards $2,500 (nonrenewable) to eligible Phi Theta Kappa students transferring to KU. A minimum 3.75 GPA, active participation in Phi Theta Kappa, and 24 transferable credit hours are required. Part-time students and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible. The student must submit a completed application for transfer admission and scholarships and membership verification form signed by the chapter advisor. All scholarships are competitive. University of Lawrence Finnup Scholarship Finnup scholarships are $2000 for students who have graduated with a minimum 2.0 GPA from a high school in one of the following counties: Comanche, Greeley, Wichita, Scott, Lane, Ness, Hamilton, Finney, Kearny, Ford, Gray, Grant, Stanton, Morton, Stevens, Seward, Meade, Clark, Haskell, and Hodgeman Washburn University Topeka

7 Transfer scholarships A student must have a complete admissions file, including an application for admission, $20 application fee, and official college transcripts from EACH previously attended institution. Students with cumulative GPAs of receive an annual award of $750, those with cumulative GPAs of receive an annual award of $1,000, and those with cumulative GPAs of receive an annual award of $1200. Washburn University Topeka Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship Students must have a complete admissions application and notify the Office of Admissions of Phi Theta Kappa membership by February 15. Students with cumulative GPAs of receive an annual award of $1000, those with cumulative GPAs of receive an annual award of $1100, those with cumulative GPAs of receive an annual award of $1200, and those with cumulative GPAs of receive an annual award of $1300. Washburn University Topeka Ten nonrenewable $1000 per year scholarships. A minimum 3.75 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) is required. Student must enroll immediately following a two-year college. Student must also be fully admitted to the Wichita State University and must submit a personal statement, activities chart, Phi Theta Kappa activities chart (signed by advisor) and a letter of recommendation from the Phi Theta Kappa advisor.
