We will also explore systematic strategies for guiding, managing, and supervising school-age children as a leader of group games and activities. 2 MARCH OST Enrichment Exploring Areas of Development in School-Age Children March 5, 2015 Participants will gain an understanding of four major areas of development in school-age children and explore the link between the areas and the implications for planning and implementing OST programs. Child Growth & Development Understanding Challenging Behaviors March 10, 2015 Understanding challenging behaviors helps the provider understand what is behind children's behaviors so they are able to better find solutions for appropriate guidance. This training will also assist providers in gaining an understanding of temperaments. Guidance and Behavior Management OST Core Module #2 Activity Planning March 12, 2015 Creating enrichment activities that promote exploration and meet the needs of school-age children.
