2 AVID Math and Science Summer Bridge Prgrams The AVID Summer Bridge Prgrams are designed t strengthen students math and science skills. Each f the prgrams utilizes WICOR strategies such as Crnell nte-taking, interactive ntebks, writing and vcabulary activities, and team building t engage the students in deep learning f math and science cncepts. The engaging, interactive lessns and cllabrative activities incrprate strategies that als prvide supprt fr English Language Learners. The curriculum fr each f the fur prgrams is designed fr 60 hurs f student cntact time (15 units f 4 hurs each).
