24 WLANs: Explosion of Mobility Increasing presence of mobile devices in the enterprise lends to more demand for wireless capabilities. Smart mobile devices, whether individually owned or corporate owned, have exploded in the enterprise with users of these devices needing, and demanding, connectivity for business applications. BYOD is a key decision factor for enterprises extending or implementing new WLANs. These will continue to grow and will start to get mobilized Ensure new investments adequately support enterprise mobility. It will continue to proliferate. Find partners and solutions that will complement your portfolio and differentiate your offering Edge connectivity has to be supported, Ubiquitous Wi-Fi across company campuses is needed. Look at Cloud WiFi as a potential network architecture, especially for distributed deployments. Cloud WiFi can provide pervasive coverage in the face of leaner IT
