5 GuestLogix Global Payment Services Protect Your Interests Fraud Risk Prevention and Monitoring While offering the flexibility and variety in payment processing, GuestLogix strongly believes in protecting the interests and revenue of its customers. GuestLogix minimizes fraud risk by implementing techniques such as: Standard Card Verification tools using industry approved services like CVD (also known as CVV2 or 3-digit verification) Transaction Security & Validation Options and intercepting questionable transactions before a purchase is approved using techniques like of RSA 2048 bit encryption, MD5 or SHA-1/SHA-2 hash validation and more Floor and Ceiling Limits as well as forcing capture of signatures for amounts greater than the configured threshold. We also support voice referral for authorization of transaction above set limits Payment Card Blacklist - GuestLogix works with a global assortment of payment authorities to bring its customers location-specific blacklists that can be uploaded to your POS devices in order to deny acceptance of a card that is suspected of fraudulent use GuestLogix Hot List GuestLogix has gone one step further to ensure its customers safety by taking known data processed through its Transaction Processing Engine (TPE) and generating a proprietary blacklist of frequent card declines seen across its global customer network. This Hot List uses a set of algorithms that allows travel operators to prevent purchase attempts with cards that have been used and declined on multiple occasions and meet a certain threshold deemed risky to any of our customers. 6 Enable Payments Through Any Medium Cash Our platform offers complete support for cash acceptance and cash management solutions. Our POS solutions allow acceptance of multiple currencies and manages automatic conversion based on defined currency conversion rates. Our Cash Management Module allows our customers or other third- party collection agencies to record and audit cash collected across the operation and across multiple currencies. The module also allows for generation of bank deposit slips as well the ability to integrate with other financial systems. Loyalty Cards Loyalty cards can be seamlessly integrated into our solution. This offers our customers the ability to provide discounts and / or promotional benefits to their consumers. Besides the ability to capture Loyalty card information, we already have the capability to integrate with external systems and passing Loyalty information collected during the sales process. Coupons The platform allows for acceptance and processing of coupons. This includes both physical (paper or other) and digital coupons. This feature enables our customers to allow its consumers to purchase products using a value coupon or for a free product. We also support generation and acceptance of digital coupons that can be used for post-purchase fulfillment. Pre-Payments The solution supports pre-payments where consumers pre-pay for services offered by our customers. We support acceptance of Prepaid or Gift cards within the solution. Pre-payments can also be in the form of a voucher or a token. Tokens can be generated well in advance of the use of the service from the customer s web-site and is highly secure preventing fraudulent use.
