In just a few months, students will learn the skills needed to trouble-shoot and repair control devices and other electronic equipment used in industries including manufacturing, refining, processing and other commercial industrial fields. This program takes students through a ground training course that will prepare them to take the FAA private pilot written exam followed by helicopter pilot training where they will become a certified commercial helicopter pilot. Req: at least 16 years of age and able to speak, read, understand and write English. Working closely with nurses, CNAs provide hands-on-care for patients in hospitals and residents of long-term care facilities as well as home care, hospice, rehabs and many urgent care facilities like clinics and doctor s offices. Req: complete application, 16 yrs old, read, write and comprehend English, current CPR certification, pass a criminal background check, current negative TB test or negative Chest x-ray. CMAs prepare and assist the patient for examination by using a broad set of skills and knowledge. Medical assistants assist physicians with procedures, perform basic lab tests, administer basic medications, implement treatments, and explain basic care to patients. Req: 18 yrs old, high school diploma or GED, basic understanding of computers and access to , current CPR certification, current negative TB test. Under the direct supervision of dentists, the dental assistant is responsible for assisting with patient care, performing minor lab functions and providing administrative support for the office. This program prepares students for both inpatient and outpatient medical coding and billing careers and helps them gain the knowledge and skills required for national certification exams. Medical transcriptionists usually use a headset to listen to dictated recordings made by physicians and other healthcare professionals then transcribe those recordings. Individuals employed as NCRT will be able to perform radiographic procedures under the supervision of a doctor. Req: 18 yrs old, high school diploma or GED. Working under the direct supervision of a certified medical technician, PBT's collect blood samples, from both skin punctures and from veins, and transport specimens to the laboratory to ensure the stability of the sample. Req: complete application, 18 yrs old, high school diploma or GED, pass a criminal background check, complete health form signed by a doctor, current CPR certification, additional specific hospital requirements may vary. Help make therapy sessions productive, under the direct supervision of a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant. 5 Registration is ongoing throughout the year for Continuing Education and Workforce Development. Register early to avoid class cancellations. ACC requires a minimum number of students to enroll for a class to be held. Go to Web ACCess Main Menu Select the Continuing Education button. 3. On the right side of the page click on Register and Pay for Continuing Education Classes. 4. Choose the Topic Code and Location in drop-down menus for the class which you are registering. 5. Select the class session for which you are registering by clicking on the white box in the select column. Click Submit at the bottom of the page. 6. On the Personal Identification page, fill out all of the fields that are indicated with a red star with the student s information. Important: When entering information on the Personal Identification screen, ALL the information must be the student s. Using a parent/spouse s Social Security Number in place of a student s will cause record damage with the college s Registrar. Please note on the top of that screen the message regarding address and/or phone number changes; if you are a returning student and your address/numbers/ have changed within the last 3 months you must contact our office in order for us to have updated information. Just entering the new information on the Personal Identification screen will not over-ride the old information in our student database. It is important our office has current student information in case of class cancellations or changes. CEWD:. Payment must be made at the time of registration. Currently there are no payment plans for Continuing Education. If registering in person, payment must be made immediately following registration at the cashier window located in the Enrollment Services Center in Building A.
