2 Learning Taxonomy Defines a particular level of knowledge that is to be attained by the student Bloom s Taxonomy Created 1956 by Benjamin Bloom Updated in the 1990 s by Anderson et al. Bloom s Taxonomy: Knowledge Knowledge-level Lowest level in taxonomy Primary type of objective in initial and lower level courses Primarily tested by the following assessments: Multiple choice True/False Matching Short Answer 2

You have been tasked to map your curriculum to meet SACS standards from the assessment level to university strategic plan level. In this exercise you will map one course from your program. COURSE: BUSI 3500 Organizational Management and Behavior Three of the objectives for this course are as follows. At the end of this class students will: 1) Evaluate how the individual roles in team dynamics impact decision-making. 2) Apply the four stages of team formation. 3) Describe important terms and concepts used in business behavioral studies. SCENARIO QUESTIONS Choose a proper level assessment for each objective Identify the program outcomes that are supported by the 3 objectives in BUSI 3500 Identify the university goals that are supported by each of the 6 business program outcomes. 9
