14 The Education Model Ba Ba Ma 4 5 Ma According to the Bologna agreement the Ba-program is a completed degree; however in TU/e it is strongly discouraged to leave the university with a Ba. For TU/e the Ba is a switch-point, before starting the Ma in Eindhoven or elsewhere.

17 Projectwork: the backbone of the programme: 6 units: - Home - Mobility - Entertainment - Work - Health - Communication First year: Awareness 6 periods of equal length covering the first year

19 The third year: Identity building incl. Internationalisation Students discover their own identity in the field of ID and are preparing themselves to make choices: leave the programme with a Ba (is discouraged by the faculty) go for a Ma: in ID TU/e other university content of their Ma In this year an industrial internship or participation in an international exchange-programme is part of the curriculum.

21 Internationalisering: Samenwerking met de NUS (National University of Singapore) De NUS heeft een Ba-opleiding ID. Met de NUS wordt in Singapore de Ma-ID opgezet zodat: Start Ma-ID in september 2004 parallel plaats vindt in Eindhoven en Singapore met Uitwisseling van studenten, die dan opgeleid worden in het ontwerpen van intelligente produkten in twee culturen.
