RESEARCH EXPERIENCE Fall 2007 Co-Investigator (with Natalie Pope and LaTrice Rollins) Assessing Social Worker s Knowledge and Use of Evidence-Based Practice We devised a summated rating scale, Social Work Evidence Based Practice Scale, to assess social worker's knowledge and use of evidence based practice. The scale was pilot tested with approximately 200 social work practitioners. Reliability analysis was performed to examine its psychometric properties. Summer 2007 Principal Investigator Perceptions and Variations in Settlement Experiences of Zimbabwean Professional Immigrants in the United States Conducted qualitative interviews with Zimbabwean immigrant professionals to learn about their experiences in the U.S Graduate Research Assistant., School of Social Work. Project Title: An Assessment of the Zimbabwe National Family Planning Council s Community-based Distribution Program. Conducted focus groups with female, male and youth users and non-users to gather their experiences and satisfaction with the program. BSW Intern.
