This course provides students with an opportunity to apply theory to practice in the laboratory setting. Program Information: This course is one of five courses offered in the second semester of the Access to Practical Nursing program prior to the gerontology practicum. Satisfactory completion of each of these courses must be achieved in order to progress to the next level of the program. Note: Students must achieve an overall grade of 65% to complete the course and progress into the Gerontology Practicum APNP 120. No rewrites are allowed for any of the evaluations. EXAM POLICY Students must attend all required scheduled exams that make up a final grade at the appointed time and place. Individual instructors may accommodate for illness or personal crisis. Additional accommodation will not be made unless a written request is sent to and approved by the appropriate Department Head prior to the scheduled exam. Any student who misses a scheduled exam without approval will be given a grade of 0 for the exam.
