Integrated design solutions, balanced keen aesthetics and technical know-how. We specialize in all aspects of public areas including concierge desks, package closets, mailrooms, and amenity spaces such as roof decks and fitness centers.

Celebrating the uniqueness of each project, Lauren & Chase collaborates closely with the client to determine the best design for each space. No matter the style from traditional to modern to transitional, our design team works to produce the best original design to optimize space, enhance functionality and beautify each interior. Careful planning provides timeless design which considers durability and maintenance, as well as public safety and accessibility. MARKETABILITY In these economic times, it is important for properties to remain competitive in the marketplace. Sales are often made or lost on the first impression projected from the lobbies and hallways even before potential buyers see the apartment. This is why your building s entry vestibule, lobby, hallways even the building s exterior façade play an important role to prospective buyers, real estate agents and the ultimate marketability of your building. Process Lauren & Chase Design Group s design process begins with an in-depth study of each project s budget, function and aesthetics. We then build a rationale of ideas, a program of needs and goals, and a carefully constructed space plan and collage of materials that are appropriate and dynamic. Green Design As a nationally-certified LEED Green Associate, Ms. Lauren expertly advises clients on FUNCTION Do you have adequate package and storage closets? What is your building s curb appeal? Preparation of plans, elevations and construction drawings 3-D computer renderings clearly illustrating the design intent Bid documents and negotiation with bidders on the client s behalf Bid analysis Value engineering and estimating Assistance with purchasing and timely procurement of goods Mock up areas for final client approval prior to construction green design and sustainability/ environmental issues, including: Recycling old materials Specification of new green products Energy efficient lighting Susan provides all available options and assists clients in deciding the best course of action for their project. 5 PRINCIPALS Susan D. Lauren Susan attended the renowned New York School of Interior Design, earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design and graduating with honors. Susan is a licensed Interior Designer with NCIDQ national certification. She also serves as Board member to the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), New York Chapter Susan is a licensed interior designer with NCIDQ national certification. She has been designing lobby and hallway renovations for eleven years. She leads the design team in every aspect of the project from creative design solutions to meticulous construction management. NEW YORK CHAPTER William C. Chase William earned his B.S. in Accounting and MBA in Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and University of Georgia - Terry College of Business. He has over 15 years of experience managing high-end residential design firms. His experience has enabled him to develop office policies, marketing, planning, procedures, and fully-integrated financial systems. Bill is responsible for all company operations, including all payables/ receivables, bookkeeping, marketing and accounting. For clients, Bill maintains fiscal responsibility and runs all administrative aspects of each project. This includes contract negotiations and administration, purchasing, budgeting and spreadsheets throughout all phases. AESTHETICS What first impression does your lobby project? What are the strengths of your common areas? What are the weaknesses? What is the overall style of your building? Is it modern, traditional, or a transitional style in between? Does it reflect the building s period, location and demographics? How does your building compare to the others nearby? What are the differences between your building and your competitors? Do your elevator interiors, mailroom, entry vestibule and other common areas live up to the rest of your building s interiors? COMPLIMENTARY DESIGN CONSULTATION Lauren & Chase will provide an onsite review of your space and make recommendations. We will then provide an in-depth design proposal and preliminary budget estimate all at no cost or obligation to you. Ms. Lauren and our team will also meet with the Board and/or Design Committee to discuss the design and renovation process in person, which begins with listening to individual queries and concerns.
