1 PERSONAL INFORMATION Teresio Poggio Office: Piazzetta Università, Brunico (BZ), Italy Office: (+39) teresio.poggio@unibz.it (full CV available) Nationality Italian RÉSUMÉ Dr. Teresio Poggio is an Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy. He has been extensively trained in empirical methods for the social sciences. He teaches social network analysis (PhD program) and empirical methods (BA program). He has other teaching and administrative responsibilities in the Faculty s programs related to the curricula in management of tourism, sports and events. His main research interests focus on housing systems, inequality and its reproduction and on survey methods, particularly on:! comparative analysis of Western European housing systems and policies;! policy design, management and financing of social housing;! intergenerational relationships and the production/transmission of housing wealth as a factor in the reproduction of inequality;! ICT and new data collection methods for the general population;! data quality in online mobile surveys. He has led and participated several research projects on these subjects, including the recently awarded international project Redesigning Social Housing Against Poverty in Europe. He has served as an advisor on housing and social policy issues for national, regional and local governments. On the same issues he has cooperated with several non-profit organizations.
