A core category cannot be fulfilled by more than 6 semester hours of the same subject. At least 9 semester hours must be completed outside the student's major program area for each divisional core requirement. Additional Resources: Illinois Articulation Initiative website: Benedictine University website: Benedictine University online catalog: Benedictine University Admissions: (630) (Transfer counselors are available for unofficial evaluations of credit) Notes: 120 semester hours are required for graduation. At least 55 of the 120 semester hours required for graduation must be completed at a four-year regionally accredited college/university. This rule applies to all students without exception. A total of 45 semester hours must be completed at Benedictine University to meet the Academic Residency Requirement unless you are accepted into the Degree Completion Program. See the Benedictine University online catalog for rules for the Degree Completion Program and the Accelerated Adult Evening and Weekend Programs. Thirty of the final 45 hours must be completed at Benedictine University including at least 12 credit hours at the 200-level or above in their major.
