5 DAY 3 Grinzane Cavour castle surrounded by vineyards Morning coach (groups) or l Altra Italia car with driver (for individuals), to Crinzane Cavour castle, located within the renowned wine production area of Langhe. This castle dates back to thirteen century, and in 1832 a prominent figure for the rebirth of the Italian nation, Camillo Benso Conte di Cavour, resided in it: it is still possible to visit his bedroom and a variety of his personal effects. Cavour also excelled in innovations brought to wine production, and Grinzane Cavour castle still keeps a vocation for guarding the outstanding gastronomic traditions of the area: it hosts the most important Piedmont wine cellar.
