1 CERTIFICATES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION CERTIFICATES SBI's Certificates emphasize course work in the curriculum for professional development education with vocational ministry in line with the school s mission statement. Focus is given to areas of study for committed Christians interested in getting deeper into biblically based professional development education to hone their ministry skills, but who do not necessarily desire to obtain a diploma or degree. Courses are taught at a post-secondary level. The final average of courses for a Certificate must be passed with a "C" or higher final average. Transcripted credit is available. Challenge Exams are available through the Registrar's Office for evaluating a written academic request to use additional biblical studies coursed as transfer credit. SPRF 3130 Biblical Foundations for Servant Leadership must be taken through SBI. Certificate students must complete field education-christian service requirements through the Servant Leadership Education Development program, and all other applicable program and graduation candidate requirements to receive a Certificate.
