2 IBMA at CUAS Our IB Master s Program: International Education in a European Context The IB Master s Program offers an international education in a European context at a German university. The history of German universities dates back over 600 years. Its characteristics are: The combination of teaching and research A strong focus on self determined learning processes of independent-minded students A high value attached to outcome orientation Due to this very German (and also quite European) system, graduates of the IB Master s Program will be qualified for leadership positions in internationally operating companies with a special focus on international strategic management. Due to their CUAS experience, they will be self-determined, embrace critical and objective thinking and decide professionally. Through specific coursework and a mandatory semester abroad, they will have gained the skills and knowledge necessary to manage cultural diversity.

11 IBMA Application requirements: completion of a university-level Bachelor of Arts or Science in International Business with a minimum grade point average of "good" (2.5) in the German grading system or its equivalent Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)-score (minimum 400 points) proof of knowledge in two languages other than English social skills, intercultural competence, international experience, as well as high motivation to successfully participate p in and complete the IBMA Program

12 IBMA Application Process All of the applications components will be evaluated individually and accumulated to an end number, which determines the applications rank in the overall selection process. Better GPAs and higher GMAT results will lead to a higher rank, rendering the possibility that a GMAT score of 400 points and/or a GPA of 2,5 are not sufficient to be accepted dinto the program. 2

13 Scholarship & Funding Opportunities subsidized field trips (through income from tuition) reimbursement of GMAT-fee three-month scholarships for students from transitional and developing countries (during thesis-writing, max. 500x max. 3months) full scholarships for IBMA students from transitional and ddeveloping countries ( 750 per month, max. four semesters) 3
