Message from Mrs. Krohmer As I look at the college acceptances that you, the members of the Class of 2015, have been awarded and the plans you have made for your futures, I know God is truly in control. He has gifted each one of you with talents and interests, He has led you through your life thus far, and He is guiding your next steps. I can t wait to hear of your accomplishments, not only with college GPAs, MCAT scores, or the landing of a great job, but also of your impact on God s Kingdom. As with every graduating class, this is a bittersweet time for me, but I look to the future with hope for each one of you, and I will be praying for your journeys. Debby Krohmer, Dean of Student Services Message from Mrs. Young Dear Class of 2015, It has been my true privilege to share the past three years of your educational journey. While your abilities opened doors, your attitudes influenced our community. Thank you for your displays of courage, determination, persistence, humility, and passion. Thank you for showing us how to grow from our mistakes, how to fail forward, and to be lifelong learners in the process. I will always think of you as the class that did hard things. Harry F. Ban Message from Mr. McGee Well, here you are on the verge of graduation and at the commencement of adulthood. I am so proud of you for your perseverance and your contributions to the school community! You are leaving a positive legacy that you cannot begin to comprehend. Undoubtedly, you leave Hill Country with many fond memories and a few not so fond. Do not, for one second, think that these are the best days of your lives. God has much greater things planned for you than what you have experienced in high school. You will experience joy like you ve never known before as you travel the path He has prepared for you. Sure, there will be times of pain, suffering, and disappointment. But, as James reminds us, Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. (James 1:2-4) As you consider what your future may look like, remember the words of that country theologian, Tim McGraw, in his famous song, Live Like You Were Dying : Like tomorrow was a gift and you ve got eternity To think about what you do with it, What could you do with it, what can I do with it, what would I do with it. Godspeed, Class of Bill McGee, Head Master Valedictorian Emily Lynn Pendleton, daughter of Sherry and Brad Pendleton, is the Class of 2015 Valedictorian. Emily has attended Hill Country since kindergarten. She will attend Baylor University s Honors Program to pursue an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology. When asked how Hill Country has prepared her for college and for life, Emily says, I cannot thank the faculty enough for being such an important part of my life for the last thirteen years. Mrs. Krohmer in particular has had a huge influence on me. She has not only been my college guidance counselor but also my small group leader and mentor. She has taught me how to be a leader and helped me learn to handle difficult situations. Hill Country has made me confident, driven, and sure in my faith. I am fully equipped to go off to college next year and do well academically. I know I will stand firm in my faith because of the solid foundation I have been given. Salutatorian Sarah Alyson Loveday, daughter of Holley and Doug Loveday, is the Class of 2015 Salutatorian. Sarah has attended Hill Country since kindergarten. She will attend Stephen F. Austin State University to pursue a degree in Theatre Performance. When asked about how Hill Country has prepared her for college and for life, Sarah says, As I look to what the Lord has in store for me, I know that I am ready for it because of the amazing foundation that Hill Country has given me. The nights of homework and study have prepared me for my classes in college, and the fellowship with my peers and teachers has strengthened my dependence on the Lord more than they know. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Psalm 105:4

Every student is honored in a personal, meaningful way. Witnessing this ceremony will give you a new understanding of the distinctiveness and value of a Hill Country education. The entire ceremony lasts around one hour and fifteen minutes....we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.
