How To Let Students Enroll Online

1 About Online Courses Australia I recently spoke with Cheryl Brooks who works as the Sales and Marketing Director at Online Courses Australia. They are an elearning company who provide education through their website. Cheryl wanted to take that a step further and allow her students to enrol online too. So she chose to work with Ezypay and integrate our direct debit gateway into her website. 2 This is how it works; 1. A student goes onto the website and chooses a course. I m going to choose the online marketing course. 2. The student then can pay upfront or choose a payment plan. The payment plan is circled in the image above. The student clicks on the button and is moved to the next screen. 3. The student chooses to enrol now. This button is highlighted in the image above.

3 4. The next screen asks the student to confirm if they would like to pay in full or use a payment plan. Just say a student chooses a payment plan and clicks the add to cart button. 5. They are taken to the shopping cart where they proceed to check out.

4 6. The student proceeds to this screen and creates an account and enters their billing details. Where the student is entering their billing details the data is sent to Ezypay via a web services call from the Online Courses Australia website. I really like this solution because it looks and feels like the Online Courses Australia website and there is no question in the students mind who they are dealing with and no trust is lost.

5 Key numbers Yeah it looks good right but what does it really mean for the business? Here are some amazing stats Cheryl shared with me: 53% of all her sales come through the web 45% of total sales are payment plans (through Ezypay s direct debit gateway) 33% of the online web payments are payment plans (through Ezypay s direct debit gateway) In addition Cheryl found overall her sales increased once she used the direct debit gateway (DDG). It only took Cheryl two weeks to recoup the cost of implementing the DDG on her website. Now the cost of the service is covered that additional revenue is going straight to her bottom line.
