ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS Onondaga Community College Syracuse, NY Responsible for all outreach activities and provided pre-admissions counseling for applicants to degree programs in nursing, and dental hygiene and for women entering non-traditional majors. Developed ongoing programs to recruit and inform targeted populations (minorities, adults, and women). Planned and organized activities, controlled budgets, and supervised open houses for potential students. Hired, trained and supervised para-professional counselor/ recruiters and clerical personnel.
