3 About co2online co2online as a non-profit organisation is independent/non-partisan has implemented several campaigns for private households and communities, co-funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment advises in a neutral and measurable manner with its 22 interactive online advisory tools and the Energy Savings Account Several Campaigns funded by 3
4 About Think Tank 30 of the German Chapter of the Club of Rome (tt30) tt30 as a young think tank composed of around 30 men and women is independent aims to identify and solve problems in the world related to sustainability and future issues undertakes research and studies in all areas of society 4

7 But: the intrinsic barriers of consumers are a major reason for the low rate of retrofits ENEF-Haus-Studie : Barriers towards energy-efficient retrofit, distinct between home owners with standard retrofit and energy-efficient retrofit (in percent on a 4-scale : strongly agree + agree ; sample n= 541 energy-efficient retrofit, n=467 standard retrofit) The credit limit for the house is already exhausted. I don't have the financial resources. I'm worried about too much dirt and stress. I didn't have time to deal with the issue in depth. I' m not sure if the retrofit is worth it. I'm not interested in retrofitting beyond what is absolutely necessary. My house is in a quite good energetic condition. There is no need for retrofit. I don't want to take out an additional loan standard retrofit energy-efficient retrofit 7
