4 Abington Memorial Hospital Creekwood Center Abington Health Center-Schilling Campus Commerce Drive Willow grove, PA NO Spanish Speakers website: Abington Memorial Hospital s Family-Based Services is an intensive in-home family therapy program developed to prevent out of home placement for children/adolescents. Treatment is provided by three teams of therapists (two family therapists per team) who are experienced in working with multi-problem families. CRITERIA: Children/adolescents, up to twenty-one years of age, who are still in school and reside in Montgomery County. The child/adolescent has a mental health diagnosis, and is at risk for our of home placement; ie psychiatric hospitals, foster care, and residential treatment facilities. Less intensive therapies have failed. At least one parent/guardian will be involved in weekly therapy sessions. All family members are encouraged to participate in the sessions. 5 Housing Assistance: The Inter-Faith Housing Alliance (215) S. Spring Gardens Ambler, PA Inter-Faith Housing Alliance is a non-profit organization providing housing and supportive services for homeless families throughout the greater Montgomery County, Pennsylvania region since Other Key Programs Available: Pennsylvania Accessible Housing Program (PAH) modifies homes for low-income seniors and people with disabilities so that they can remain in their homes. Homeless Assistance Program (HAP) prevents and reduces homelessness by assisting families to stay in or move into homes. Homeowners Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program (HEMAP) provides loans to help homeowners pay their mortgages until they get back on their feet, saving 45,000 homes since Housing and Redevelopment Assistance (HRA) funds community revitalization and projects to develop affordable homes. Legal Aid provides homeowners with representation in foreclosure. Neighborhood Assistance (Tax Credit) Program (NAP) provides tax credits to corporations that contribute to approved community enhancement projects. Programs: Social services: provide information and referral on health, housing, citizenship, etc. and act as a liaison between families and schools. Even Start Family Literacy Program. 20 Adults and Preschoolers participate in a program which offers early childhood education, adult literacy, parenting education and interactive parent/child activities. The Summer Bridge program provides academic enrichment through workshops, field trips to zoos, nature centers, etc, After School & Summer Programs: Up to 50 students are offered homework assistance, tutoring & play activities. Montgomery County Prison 60 Eagleville Road Eagleville, PA Finding Someone Detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Pennsylvania nted/pafindingsomeonedetainedbyice.pdf When Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) gets involved before, during or after an arrest, there are a few steps that must take place before a defendant can be released. At arraignment, a judge will set the local or county bond. ICE will place a hold on the defendant to remain in custody until extradition by ICE to an immigration facility. Once extradited, it may take as long as 3 days for the defendant to be issued their immigration bond, as long as they are eligible and are not remanded to the detention facility. During this time we can go ahead with the beginning of the Immigration bond process. This way, once the bond is set, we are able to post bail as soon as possible. Immigration bond specialists are available 24/

While patients are informed that an office visit with a physician costs $70.00 patients are asked to make a contribution to their care, it is solely based on their honesty and ability to pay. The Clinic believes that every person deserves access to quality care, regardless of their ability to pay. There are no income requirements. Parents As Teachers Program is also available for pregnant mothers. It is provided at no cost to the families. The Parents as Teachers Model is based on the belief that parents are their child s first and most influential teachers. FREE TELEPHONIC INTERPRETATION The School District of Philadelphia provides free telephonic interpretation in over 180 languages and dialects for school staff and administrators. LIVE INTERPRETATION Live interpretation is available, with advance notice, for meetings, disciplinary hearings, and District-wide parent and community events where telephonic interpretation is not sufficient. Live interpretation is provided by one of the District s Bilingual Counseling Assistants. Document Translation is available Documents that need to be translated can include public announcements, District-wide documents, flyers, forms, and other communications intended for parents and students in addition to transcripts or immunization records for enrollment or student placement

Services: Therapy & Counseling for individuals, family and couples. There is a Spanish speaking therapist. Case Management Medication Management Most of their cases deal with autism, retardation, depression & anxiety. Fees: They do not take private insurance. They take Medicaid and have a sliding fee scale. If someone does not qualify for Welfare but documentation is able to be provided, Central can service for free up to a year.
